Hello, I am building close to the same thing as in this video which is a pc inside a desk, I am doing this for a school project and have been planning for around a month I have only one problem and that is how am i going to put a io shield in with the least amount of trouble. I have had some ideas but it would take forever to put in so im guessing I can get some help from the community it would mean alot.

Also if I do get requests of the finish product I will take some photos while im at school and post them asap

(This is a school project because at my school we have a class called fab lab which is personal fabrication and we are on our final project for our semester and so far looks like I have the coolest project :))

Well you could measure the dimensions of an IO shield, and cut a hole for it in the side where you want it to go...

If you want it to snap into place like a case, either cut that part out of a case (easy way) and put it in there, or you'll have to hand-cut the wood to create the right indention patter.

Or you could cheat and get one of the Asus boards (think it's them) that has the IO shield built in

Main Rig: R9 5950X @ PBO, RTX 3090, 64 GB DDR4 3666, InWin 101, Full Hardline Watercooling

Server: R7 1700X @ 4.0 GHz, GTX 1080 Ti, 32GB DDR4 3000, Cooler Master NR200P, Full Soft Watercooling

LAN Rig: R5 3600X @ PBO, RTX 2070, 32 GB DDR4 3200, Dan Case A4-SFV V4, 120mm AIO for the CPU

HTPC: i7-7700K @ 4.6 GHz, GTX 1050 Ti, 16 GB DDR4 3200, AliExpress K39, IS-47K Cooler

Router: R3 2200G @ stock, 4GB DDR4 2400, what are cases, stock cooler

I don't have a problem...

Yes I have been thinking about that option but so far I think the best option is possibly to cut it out and drill it in the case

Also I do beleive that you are right about the Asus board but right now since im a HS student I dont have alot of money so i but some pretty low budge stuff but will be upgrading soon hopefully
