GTA Online PC Doesn't Load

UPDATE: I deleted the "Rockstar Games" folder in my documents and even though i lost my single player progress i can now join gta online.

 

About a month ago i was playing GTA Online with a friend and i entered my garage and the game froze and when i relaunched the game GTA online wouldn't load. The issue still hasnt been solved and i have done everything rockstar suggested and no hope, i delete my profiles and reinstalled the game and still nothing. I know my internet isn't the issue as every other online game works fine and my upload and download speeds are above the recommended for GTA. I have the non steam PC version and any help would be greatly appreciated. 

 

NOTE: sometimes i can join but it takes 10 minutes and then the game crashes after about 20-30 minutes

Have you installed to a different drive? Have you tried running it in a VM?

I only have one drive and what do you mean by VM?

How would i launch the game in virtual box? All it seems to do is let you use different operating systems?
