so I want to choose between these two, but i don't know which would be better, software wise, raw performance, heat, noise is really important to me, controllers, drivers, everything. I do really want the extra 4 pin headers, since I have a fan which i need to connect (but i only got 3 pin header left and it makes the fan spin full blast which is loud AF), the gigabyte does have overall more clock and boost speed. I want to hear your opnions and my current build is below.

asus has better cooling, i would go for that.

That really doesn't matter that much because pretty much all the companies will give you a good cooler design. The only thing I go off of is warrant price and aesthetics

Performance wise, they are the same chip so not much difference. Noise and temp will be better on the Asus due to the massive cooler. With speedboost, your card will overclock at far as it can while staying under 83c.

Also what is this about 4 and 3 pin fan headers. Am I missing something here? I don't understand what you mean.

you get an extra 2 4 pwm headers on the card

so you can connect more fans

3 fans vs 2 fans. no matter what you say its a fact that 2 fans move less air than 3 fans can. it can achieve the same cooling with a lower rpm and is thus cooler and produces less noise.

Well I don't personnaly care about noise that much.I have used delta fans before. But not that many pep ole care about that rather minuscule difference in sound. If you really care that much watercool it with a 600mm radiator

i get that but he literally says this

noise is really important to me

so the asus one is the better of the two for him, especially with the extra fan headers.

they are the same price and the asus one has the extra fan header he wants. the asus one just is better value in this case. his case doesn´t have a sidewindow and i don´t think he cares for looks because he didn´t mention it in OP either.

I mean the asus one is a strix card, so they lower the performance a bit to help with cooling.

Don't notice that with my 1080. Beats the majority of 1080 benchmarks by a few FPS.

sorry, but my case does have sidewindow, and both of the cards feature rgb, unlike the evga or msi(mostly just red), and i am looking for more rgb in the future :)

really? huh weird well in that case i am wrong :P the case in the pcpartpicker list showed no sidewindows so thats where i got that info. in that case the looks do matter for you.

edit: oh shit i already see where i fucked up lol, the picture is incredibly deceiving but there is a sidewindow in there it just doesn't look like it on a small cropped picture lol.
