Well, I avoid Gigabyte when I can because their Customer Service is not great (one account over at reddit sent their damaged laptop and Gigabyte kept it, didn't even return it unrepaired, just stole the damn thing).

 

And the Windforce cooler i pretty lackluster.

But you can still get it I guess. And you can tweak the driver so it doesn't spy on you I guess

 

 

And be ready for your card to age badly, and so on.

If your in a big enough city considered the used market with the 1080ti arround the corner. A few people will be upgrading from older cards.

i personally see that used decrease it longevity and I'm not a computer expert yet to ding around for which 1080ti is reliable.
