1x 1440p 2x 1080p Surround?

Supersonic Muffin

Hi guys - I'm wanting to get a new monior over Christmas and I'm thinking 1440p at 24..ish inches in size. I currently have 2 IPS 1080p displays which I would like to be able to use in a tripple monitor surround setup with the new monior as the main centre piece. - For the most part gaining would be non surround single monitor in 1440P - but for racing and 3rd person games I would like the option of running surround - I just dont know if it would work?

I expect I would have to downscale the 1440p monitor to 1080p... would things look a whole lot worse than the native monitors either side of it? or would the interpolation completey ruin the image? and could I even do this with Nvidia surround as I want to? another opiton I was wondering about... could I use DSR on the other (1080p) monitors and scale them to 1440p and make a 1440p surround as far as the PC is concerend?

Thanks - I'm really getting a bit of a headache over all this!

My dad has 2x24 1080p, and 1x24 1050p.

It downscales all of the monitors to 1050p per monitor, and it looks perfectly fine.

idk

You would have set up surround to have it set to 1080. The surround hot keys might have it go back to 1440 but I doubt it.
