Google Chrome icon missing

As you can see my Google Chrome icon in the taskbar is missing. The icon appears normal on the desktop. Does anyone know how to fix this or has this problem too?

Just remove the shortcut and re-pin it?

I wish it was as easy as that. It just opens a new window with a blank icon when I click it.

You can try refreshing windows' icon cache

Reinstalling Chrome is another option. If you're logged in your google account in chrome everything should be synced so it would take a minute or two

Just rebuild the icon cache, but it didn't work, same for reinstalling Chrome..

Damn, this may sound stupid but... restarting didnt help either  ?
