Hello, I want to know which is more worth it from an efficiency and stability standpoint: laser printer or an inkjet with an ink tank system? Which type of printer has a greater tendency to break down more often or which one has more maintenance issues?

I plan to print lots of text files and pictures, not necessarily photos, its actually graphic novel quality pics (so cartoonish) and I'm expecting to print large volumes of prints.

Thanks

My system: CPU: Intel i5 6500; Mobo: H110M-k; GPU: Nvidia GT 730; Memory: 16 GB; HDD: 2x 1TB HDD;

I would go with laser jet. Ink jet is better for photos while laser jet is better for text. I have had the same laserjet printer (some hp soho printer scanner fax copier combo) for like 8 years and it has required no maintenance other than the usual toner refills once in a while.
