So likely a HTPC type case which at least shrinks one dimension (think XBOX sized). Length and width enough to fit a mobo, psu, and drives but only as tall as a PCIe device. Main Rig: R9 5950X @ PBO, RTX 3090, 64 GB DDR4 3666, InWin 101, Full Hardline Watercooling Server: R7 1700X @ 4.0 GHz, GTX 1080 Ti, 32GB DDR4 3000, Cooler Master NR200P, Full Soft Watercooling LAN Rig: R5 3600X @ PBO, RTX 2070, 32 GB DDR4 3200, Dan Case A4-SFV V4, 120mm AIO for the CPU HTPC: i7-7700K @ 4.6 GHz, GTX 1050 Ti, 16 GB DDR4 3200, AliExpress K39, IS-47K Cooler Router: R3 2200G @ stock, 4GB DDR4 2400, what are cases, stock cooler I don't have a problem... I was giving an example of the type of design to look for. Short (HTPC style), mATX support, with full-height PCIe slots. Posted December 11, 2016 I second the notion of the Prodigy case. Its not tiny but those handles mean you could easily carry it with a light box or something on top for move-in/out. As a college student who had a Full tower case for his first two years its not that bad to move a pc in. Posted December 11, 2016 I don't think there's really a case that fits everything you want. mATX is kind of hard to find small cases for. Corsair Air 240 Aerocool DS-Cube Prodigy M Built the mITX version for a friend. Good case. The handles are a little wobbly though, they're made out of a slightly flimsy rubber. LianLi PCU300 A little on the bigger side, but it's the only one with a handle. Silverstone SG10 Small. Silverstone FT03 This case doesn't have a handle, but it'll take up the least amount of desk space by far. Plus it looks bad ass. Project Orthrus If you are going to be in school for a while, this would be a good one to keep an eye on. Not currently in production. 44 minutes ago, tarfeef101 said: Example case: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/dsR48d/silverstone-case-gd09b If he's worried about desk space I don't think one of these would be that good. It'd likely take up the most space, unless there's one that can be stood on its side. 42 minutes ago, deXxterlab97 said: Dimenstion of your case 440mm (W) x 170mm (H) x 358mm (D), 26.8 liters Dimension of my linked case 382mm (W) x 105mm (H) x 350mm Smaller yes, but unsuitable, so still a fail.
