Im going to upgraded my 1 TB HDD to a Samsung 1 TB SSD. The programs I have on it are Google chrome, steam and games, CCleaner, DS4 Controller App, Geforce Experience, Razer Synapse, Skype, Origin, and Microsoft Student with Word, Powerpoint, and Excel. SInce I am upgrading my HDD to an SSD should I uninstall of the programs from the HDD, install the SSD and redownload or is there any way for me to transfer the programs? I already have a separate SSD with my OS and spotify on it. Its my boot drive.

The samsung SSD would have came with cloning software. Alternatively, you can find cloning software online, though i have used any of it.

That's what I use, and it works great! It is a tad bit on the expensive side though.

Thanks! Another Question. When I configured my drives when i first built my pc I set my SSD as the C drive and my HDD as my S drive. When I uninstall the HDD and install the SSD, will i have to configure the SSD so my PC recognizes it? WIll I be able to rename the SSD as storage again?

If you clone the HDD, you only need to configure the boot priority (if it's on the SATA 0 port, no need to worry). Yes, you probably can rename the SSD as storage
