Cpu cooler

I have a i5 4670k which i will be overclocking. And wanted to know if i sould use a water cooler or will a air cooler be fine. I only have £100 max for it. Thanks for the help

Get the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo.

Air cooler will be fine, just check the recommended TDP the cooler has and you should be fine

Watercooling (I'm talking about all in one's here):

-More expensive

-Slightly better performance 

-Less reliable

 

Air:

-very cost effective

-less sex appeal (subjectively)

 

Either would be fine for your use case.

@RT5xSHOCKz, I'd highly recommend you get the Cryorig H7. Very good cooler for overclocking and your temps should be no more than 75 degrees under stress testing.

Noctua NH-D15 is for when you want best performance and sound and you don't care if it is ugly. Cryorig H7 is imo the best compromise when it comes to looks, performance and noise. Gonna pick it up today ^^

I would go for 20 stock coolers l.  If you pile them all up they will beat any aio or dual tower air cooler
