Outdoor Ethernet cable

So I was looking at outdoor Ethernet cables. I would need one that is 150ft long. I need some recommendations for good cables. wow 1,000ft. I will need to learn how to crimp but that shouldn't be hard

crimping is pretty easy. afaik, it's not rated for outdoor use, but I didn't have any issues during the 5+ years it was used.

ok well if it breaks just run a new section. Any special crimping tool or will a normal wire stripper work

One of these will probably work fine: https://www.amazon.com/Belkin-RJ45-Medium-Duty-Crimp/dp/B00004Z62S Although I used an Ideal one (and an Ideal tester).

IP66 cables & connectors do exist. I'm sure you will find something local if you google "IP66 ethernet" or "IP66 CAT6" or cat5

If you're running cables through pipes/trenches, you probably won't need specific outdoor cables.

@GDRRiley thinking back on it, there might not have been any 5E cables running outside my house. I know there was RG6, but I can't remember for sure if there were any 5E cables.

it will be outside not in a pipe for a while then cross between my house and the back building and run outside for some time.
