Help with 2nd ssd

Hey guys so im looking in to a 2nd ssd for storage i have a v400now 240 gb now and a 1tb wd. Hd l was looking in to the crucial mx300 1tb. Would this be a good choise or is there a better option looking to spend 200-250

It won't be the fastest SSD ever, but for the price/Gb it is a very good SSD with decent speeds.

For OS drive go for faster SSD but for storage the speeds doesent really matter that much so capacity for price is the best solution and MX300 is just that.

I seen they have the m.2 same size would that make any difference

Hi @Dropndestroy213.

From what I can see, the M.2 model is again a SATA drive. So, if your motherboard has an available M.2 port, you can go with either option. It's just a matter of form factor, the interface is still the same. The performance should be the same as that of the 2.5" drive.
