Mostly designed with aesthetics in mind, as it is open air. I'd get custom CableMod (or similar) cables.

The problem is that this is an nVidia product and scoring any nVidia product a "zero" is also highly predictive of the number of nVidia products the reviewer will receive for review in the future.

Yeah, but it is the only 1080 that would fit in his budget and I wanted to put a 1080 in it. That 1080 should still outperform any 1070, right? But another good option would be to get a 1070 and upgrade to a 6700k

moved to new build planning

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

It would have been helpful to mention or quote me to let me know you updated the post.

What do you mean "possible content creation"? Is it serious/professional editing and rendering or just casual editing?

What resolution would you work and game at?

Finally, depending on your answers, not all of your budget would be necessary to get you an appropriate build. So I can help you buy smart. :D

Hi Steve, I recommend this build as its the cheapest out of all of the above. And you don't need a 1080, 1070 is recommended. And I did do a white theme to this build with a white graphics card, black and white motherboard, and a white case. I think you would prefer this build, I do recommend a Ultrawide 1080p monitor @144hz This is probably one of the best 1300 dollar builds out there so I do recommend you choose this. But of course this is your choice so please choose one you love.

Here is a cost effective solution. What do you think? Mind you, you'll hardly get much more benefit going beyond this. Regular builds are more than adequate for casual streaming, editing and rendering at 1080P.
