Hi,

I'd like to build myself a nice gaming system. My budget will be max 600€.I was looking to use the i5 6400 and maybe the msi gtx 1050 ti oc, i have a cooler master 550v-sm 80+ gold lying around and i would also like to use that psu in order to save money. I won't need to count in money for an os since i already have a win10 cd.

Anyone interested in helping me out a little bit?

Alex

Myself, i have nothing against the i3-6100, but my dad told me i should probably go with an i5 since i3's are getting rather old.

Is this possible?

Sorry, cheapest RAM, cheapest motherboard and cheapest case and cheapest psu that doesn't explode. You would have to get a worse gpu which I don't want to as gaming need more gpu power than cpu power if that's your intend and i3 still does the job fine enough

the i5 4440 is very similar to the 6400. if you want something better  you have to look at used market

Ok, look here and try searching for Belgium

https://geizhals.de/?cat=WL-704703

At that pricepoint I'd recommend getting a GTX 1060 or RX 480, an i3 6100 and a 240-256GB SSD

For most games the i3 is fine, but if you can manage to use the money you do not need to spend on the PSU to get an i5, by all means, do it

For the specifics you should browse price checking sites like geizhals :)
