Alright guys so here's the parts I'm working with, pics of the setup attached, please let me know what you guys think would be the best set up;

tower: corsair 400c

mobo: msi z170a kraut gaming 3x

cpu: intel i7-6700k

cooling: corsair 110i gtx with corair ml140pro fans

cooling: 2x corsair ml140pro + 1x ml120pro

ram: patriot viper 2800 2x8gb

gpu: asus nvidea 1060 OC strix ROG 6gb

storage: Samsung ego 840 500gb + 3tb seagafe baracuda hdd

psu: corsair cx750

connectivity: asus pce ac56 + ethernet

lighting: nzxt hue+ with extension kit

currently I have the corsair h110i gtx on the front set up on a pull system along with the ml120pro on the rear as exhaust and the two ml140pros in the top as exhaust as well.. my question here; is there anything you guys would recommend i do different? I have the original sp140l fans from the unit I was thinking about placing in a pushpull system, would it be worth it.. my issue is the gpu, I would have to essentially carefully dremel cut the plastic on the edge of the card to fit the fans.. guess what I'm getting at is, I'm reading that push pull isn't worth it for a "thin" radiator.. thoughts..would the modification be worth it?

Well what kinds of temps are you pulling now? Are you thermal throttling at all? Looks like you could do a better job at managing your cables tbh. You should NEVER cut/dremel any part of your components unless you are willing to risk killing them.

Yeah that's the fear, looking at it, the only reason I'd be willing to modify would be because it has a large plastic "cover" that's no where near the card or any components is what I'd shorten its length to fit a fan for push pull..

currently on idle I average 15-20c and playing bf1 on ultra at 1440p at 2560x1440 tops at say 44-52c.

i know it's good numbers, just curious if I could do better

and yeah wire management is a mess right now, still trying to finalize the set up so they're just hooked up all over/out of the way for now.

monitor: acer g257hu and an acer s231hl as secondary for monitors while playing, probably going to unplug for the most part once everything is finalized.

I know where you're at because I'm that same kind of paranoid, constantly feeling like my system could be better/different lol but I'm going to give you a solid No. Doing mods like you're talking about are not worth it. Like you said, those temps are perfectly fine for 1440p at ultra for a normal water cooling system. Work on that cable management some and dont stress about the temps <3

Yeah yeah I'll take your advice, haha, ultimately though, is a push pull system worth the space on a thin radiator like the h110i gtx?

i guess I'll focus on wire management and lighting for now ;)

other than that what is your personal opinion of my build/parts?
