Which GTX 1070?

Hi guys,

I am planning to upgrade my geforce gtx 970 on a gtx 1070. But since there are plenty of different versions even of the same brands I'm not sure how too choose. I really like the look of the founders edition though and I kind of feel like it's the 'safest' choice, since I don't really have to worry about problems that go with overclocking (too much heat/noise). Do you think it is worth it too buy a custom version that is overclocked? Does it really make a performance difference in real life while playing games or does it give significantly more fps? 

 

PS: It might sound stupid but I actually really like the look of the FE since it's so clean and really matches with the rest of my PC.

All the 1070s are the same in performance there might be a frame or 2 difference but it just depends on what you think looks good

Why do you even need a 1070? are you going to be doing 144Hz or 1440p?
