so have the fan to the outside of the case not the radiator?

no. what you can have is similar to what you have right now, you simply flip your fan around so it blows air in the opposite direction... this results in using fresh, cooler air from outside the case to pass through your radiator, versus using heated air inside your case to pass through your radiator, which results in less cooling.

If you're this confused by it though, its probably best if you just leave it as is... or do some research on the matter before you spend 700 bucks on something lol.

Thanks for the piece of advice but I don't see a reason to be a dick about a question. Did you know everything from the first time you did something?

Not "everything".... but I would have looked up the basics before investing 700 bucks in a product. and you're welcome for walking you through what you need to do in order to switch your radiator from an exhaust to an intake. Do you normally go out of your way to insult the people offering you assistance? kind of a dick move in itself.
not trying to start a flame war or anything, just food for thought.

if you have further questions on the matter, go ask google. LTT and JayzTwoCents (amongst others) have many videos on the topic of fans, airflow, and radiators.

The information was helpful. I thank you for your comments. I did hours of googling and reading up on fans, watching Linus' video on the different types, Jayz video on airflow fans versus static pressure. I couldn't find the exact information that I needed. Also we are people that build computers for the experience and the learning.

So this topic can be closed because I got the information that I needed.
