Help. No bios after post.

Just finished building my new rig..

When I turn on the computer everything turns on. And I get the Asrock splash screen. When I hit the del key it doesn't do anything. Pressing before power then turning on didnt either. It was stuck on the screen. Reset the cmos and now the screen flashes then disapears leaving me with a black screen with no UEFI.

unplug all drives from the motherboard.  Make sure your CPU fan is plugged in.

Not all bios are accessed by del. Try readying the caption when it boots in order to see what key opens bios.

Cpu can is plugged in and I unplugged all other cables still a black screen. Heard a single beep when pressing Del. Though it did it before too.

F2 and Del.

try a different keyboard. Some newer, mechanical keyboards have problems accessing the bios

Somehow.. I got it to go into it by switching HDMI from gpu to MB (using dvi to hdmi adapter.) Then back to gpu. Will update.

Got into UEFI but only 8gb of ram detected out of 2x8 sticks.. Took out the ram and put it back in. Now I'm stuck back on the Asrock screen.

try only 1 stick of ram at a time. Also unplug gpu until you have it working with integrated graphics
