On board audio not working

Mac

About 3 months ago I bought a new motherboard, I didn't have enough standoffs in my case as my past mono was matx. It was just restarting over and over. I finally noticed a part of the mobo was touching the case. That was the problem. The audio hasn't worked on that motherboard. Any was to fix?

If the audio died because the motherboard was touching the case, chances are that the circuit was permanently damaged from a short. No way to really fix that. If the audio is not working because of something else, it could be many things, like the correct drivers are not installed, etc.

I'll leave it then. USB sound card works well.
