maximus viii ranger ram error 53

ASUS Maximus VIII Ranger motherboard showing error 53, the ddr4 ram i am using is corsair  CMK4GX4M1A2400C16R single 4gb
i have changed the ram slots, pressed cmos. 
i know i should have checked the ram compatibility list provided by asus. 
Is it not compatible or what is the issue. please help :)
