MSI Gaming app not working?

So I was trying to set my Gaming X 1070 to OC mode, and I clicked on the big "OC mode" button, and nothing happened. I thought maybe it is not boosting its base clock because it is idle, so I tried putting it in silent mode. Again, nothing happened. The clock speed stayed at 1582Mhz, the advertised base clock for my Gaming X card. I do not understand why the app does not change my card's clock speed. It overclocks and boosts up to 2000+ Mhz in games and heaven.

 

I have tried re-installing the gaming app and disabling my overclock, still the gaming app does not work. Any advice on how to solve?
