Network Printer problem

I have two wireless networks that are handled by two routers. the main router handles the 2.4ghz connection and the secondary router handles the 5ghz connection. The problem is that I have a network printer that is connected to the 2.4 connection and I use the 5ghz one. Whenever I try to print something it gives me a connection error. How can I make it so that the printer is able to be used from both networks and not having to connect to the 2.4 connection when I need to print something?

Are they separated routers? Do they connect to each other in anyway?

Yes they are connected to each other physically

The printer isn't dual band and its not in the same room as the router

Did it work if you connecto to 2.4ghz?

the 2nd router should be set in AP mode and have its DHCP server disabled
