Looks like a good option for an mATX/ATX case. I'm assuming you don't plan to build some super small form factor system?

Nope xD

Why the hell are you paying more money for a G-sync monitor when you have an AMD card? Just get the Freesync version for less

It will cost more than a freesync monitor and you can't even use the Gsync, ever

If you have already bought the screen, just sell your gpu on ebay and buy an nvidia one. Consider buying a last gen card used, since you can get some pretty good deals on them, if you know what you're doing.

Using this screen without an nvidia card is simply a waste of money, since you already paid for an awesome feature. It would be a shame not to take advantage of it.

500 USD Budget + 180hz Gsync Display = GTX 1070.

Just to be sure: Can you tell us what CPU and PSU you are using? Maybe you can give so information on the games you're running, too. Depending on your answers, a used 970 or 1060 might be enough, so you could save some money.

edit: Please don't go SLI. It's not worth the trouble...

Lol isn't that demanding, but GTA is. So considering the rest of your system, a 1070 would be perfect. If you just care about performance, a cheap and basic variant should be fine. The more expensive options aren't that much faster, but they run at lower temps and with less noise.
