Merge/delete partition

So I was going to download a Steam game today, but it said that I didn't have enough space on my SSD. I was confused, as I was only using about 90gb of my 128gb drive. I checked in disk management, and it said that I had a "backup" partition, but I never created it. It was taking up 20gb on my disk, yet was completely empty. Can someone tell me how to delete it or merge it with my "normal" partition (the one with my OS and such?) Thanks!
