Loud beep when computer starts- HELP please

you take it out of the RAM socket and put it back in and make sure it is in properly.

Hi everyone,

I built a pc but when I turn it on there is a loud beep and nothig appears on screen.

Can anyone  please help?

1) was it working before the beep

2) what type of beep? a short beep or a long beep?

3) did you plug in all of your connectors (cpu power as well)

I will check if I connected everything,

While waiting it is a long beep and the beep happens just when I turn the computer on.

(I forgot what the cpu power is...)

most likely RAM. Reset your ram and make sure it is in properly
