Hey just a quick question really. Basically my 980 went nuclear cause of some building work which was going on around my house at the time and basically had a power surge and my 980 seemed to get the full force somehow. Now MSi wont RMA as its not a failure which was the companies fault which I totally understand but still leaves me with no GPU at this tricky time of the year. I was looking at the r9 fury as a stop gap as here in the UK its like £290 pound at amazon for the Sapphire model and I have like 80 pound in vouchers so basically I can get it for 210. Is the fury worth it for now.

Perfectly worth. For 290 it's already a great deal, and even better at 210.

The fury is an excellent card, it will work fine.

doesn't seem to be too far away form 1070 performance levels, i'd get it.
