Hi I'm building a PC and on the Asus ROG MAXIMUS VIII HERO ALPHA motherboard, the supported RAM section does not list the RAM I purchased.

The RAM I have purchased is http://gskill.com/en/product/f4-3200c16d-16gtzb

and the RAM supported is http://gskill.com/en/product/f4-3200c16d-16gtz

These are both 3200MHz DDR4 8GBx2 kits.

Looking at the specifications of the RAM the only difference I can see is that the RAM I purchased has 16-18-18-38-2N as the tested latency and the RAM that is supported has 16-16-16-36-2N as the tested latency.

I am aware that motherboard manufacturers can't list support for every single variation of RAM, but I just wanted to be sure that I'm not going to run into any issues?

Also out of interest what do these numbers actually mean and which is better?

Many thanks

Ben
