Hi fellow LTT fans :) So I ran into a little obstacle while trying to service my R9 280 sapphire graphics card. (The warranty expired so... wanted to do a little thermal paste renewal).
(link of the card, if needed: http://www.sapphiretech.com/productdetial.asp?pid=C4D1B443-6105-4A63-85DE-1732CC9C443D&lang=eng ).
So there I was unscrewing the four main screws on the center of the pcb, they are off, and ... cant find any more of them. The cooler/pipes are all still fixated and not budging,

and there are no more visible screws that hold them to the pcb. Did not try to pry it open, or in any case force it off so it's all good. Searched some forums, and YT for answers and the closest I got was that some AMD cards are glued with some sort of silicon adhesive substance, and the only way to open it is to use some anti - adhesive sub..like WD - 40 spray.

Witch I'm not very thrilled about.
Do you guys have any exp with this matter, or some advice for me?

Thx in advance Alex.
