random restarts during start up.

please read carefully

'cold start' after pc has been shut down and left for a little while

'warm start' restart pc from within windows

pc specs

cpu: i7-3930k 4.61ghz at 1.384v

ram; 16gb 4*4 2400 dominator platinim

psu: CX750M

mobo ASUS P9X79 pro

gpu KFA2/GALAX gtx 770 HOF

 

 

right during a cold i press the power button everything comes, couple seconds later, it goes off and on and repeats this twice(doesnt show post or image on screen) before starting up correctly

 

when i restart it it starts up in one go

Do you think it could be the overclock, its quite a decent overclock? 

could be the overclock but once it gets started it runs fine :/ like trying to start an old car it needs a few attempts to get it started

Yea, that is quite strange :/. I would first try leaving the overclock off for a day and see if it solves it.

yeah, its 3.8ghz max when not oc :(

seems to happen it is cold :/ i think my room temp might be like 10c its -4c outside
