GTX 680 Triple Display..

I'm currently running 2 monitors through DVI on my GTX 680. I was wondering if I needed an ACTIVE displayport to DVI adapter to get a 3rd monitor going. I won't be doing surround gaming.

Yes you will need an active adapter. You could just get an HDMI to DVI cable for £5 or so though

You can use a passive adapter as long as single-link DVI gives you enough bandwidth. You only need an active adapter if you need dual links. What's the monitor's resolution and refresh rate?
