Recommended motherboard ?

What would be the recommended motherboard for i7 6800k ?

I know the best option would be something like x99, but I just want to see some cheaper alternatives.

Any recommendations ?

 

P.S. I just want to see if I can save some money, but don't lose too much performance.

You will need a x99 motherboard for full performance. But they don't need to be that expensive.

 

I suggest the MSI X99A SLI Plus. It's has a good price/performance ration.

yeah a x99 whould be your best bet

 

you should not cheap out on your baseboard since its basicly the heart of your pc
