200mm fan Bit Fenix spectre pro.

Looks like a decent cooler just a bit bulky.

I own a Havik 140. Aside from the plain aesthetics (I couldn't stand how it upset my rig and painted it black), it's a pretty good cooler. My one complaint is the fan mounting system that NZXT supplies with it; being rubber and being exposed to high temperatures, mine frayed and broke after over a year of use. Quickly replaced them with zip ties, and found they work as good if not better. As for fans, the 140mm stock fans didn't clear my ram nor my side panel so I swapped them out for some 120mm fans (push/pull) and they work just fine. Performance wise, iirc it's as good as the old D14.

I have a NZXT phantom. I heard some talk about the 200mm mounts on the top being different from conventional mounts. Is it perhaps better just to get another NZXT fan?

If they say its 200mm it should be 200mm I dont see how or why such a big manufacturer would put different sized mounts and advertise it as a 200mm.

This is true. Even cooler masters are slightly different. It's been a while since I looked into 200mm fans, but I remember the bitfenix has multiple mounting holes to accommodate most cases. But, this also makes it a little more bulky and may make it so your panel doesn't get full motion to slide open. If you have full clearance on the side of the fan to insure full sliding motion, then go for it. If not, stick with an NZXT fan.
