8350 is starting to shine now... Especially with modern games being multi-core aware.

The 4670K pretty much has 8 cores

What are you talking about.....??

The 4670k is a quad core i5 with no hyperthreading....

quad = four cores, not eight.

That's the 4770k.

It's a four core i7 with hyperthreading but costs over $100 more then the 4670k and 8350...

overkill psu, horrible motherboard, and absolute overkill cpu cooler

I'm talking to him privatly and we have looked at the psu for future Xfire plans, motherboard because we have limited selection here and CPUcooler may be expanded and trust me it will get used.

Ok, so keep the PSU.

Motherboard is far away from supporting 8350, let alone overclocked.

Cpu cooler may be expanded? I am not getting what you are saying.

right. change the case, or switch to intel then. because there are no mATX boards for his build unfortunatelly.

Well, depends what your definition of no boards is... The Asus board will work, just it may not have the same life span as a higher quality board.

What's the system being used for?

Yes. OR you could get itel cpu and mATX board. That might be cheaper you know. And you have mATX case like you wanted.

Yep. The 650D is also cheaper.
