K or Non-K

I currently have an AMD FX 6300 as well as an MSI RX 480 4gb Gaming X. I am looking to upgrade to an i5. I want the 6600 or 6600k, but I am leaning towards the 6600. It comes with a stock fan so it saves me like $30. I shouldn't need to overstock on it as well. So if you have any advice, go ahead and drop it in the comments.

The ONLY thing you gain with a K processor is the ability to overclock it. If you don't want to overclock then go with the non-K version. Stock coolers are just fine when you aren't overclocking.

6600K because 1: it can be overclocked for more preformance 2: easier to sell later 3: more preformace now even if you dont overclock

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...
