My PC was upgraded from 7 ultimate to 10 pro when it was free but I didn't really like it so I reverted back. It gave me some weird slow down in 10 and also back in 7 now so I finally did a clean install and I still get it. Everything just freezes for 10sec except for the mouse. It almost always happens when I try to open something new but I have no problems while gaming but there all installed on my HDD not on my SSD. Did Windows 10 pro fuck with my SSD? Should I reformat it? How do you reformat a C drive?

Ok and you deleted all the partitions before reinstalling? If you did that it should be good enough of a format. You can always do a full drive nuke via cmd but don't need to do that unless your selling a drive or somthing.

You could try the ssd in a different sata port and if it it has trim support do that.

Only the by system reserved partition is still there, I never make partitions.

Your suppose to remove all partition on the drive your installing on. It makes new ones for you. Just don't acidently delete your storage drive. Not exactly sure what you did but it might be worth trying the install again removing all partitions on the ssd

By system reserved E is stil is Dutch from my previous Windows 7 Ultimate, I did a fresh windows 7 ultimate in english now. Is that weird? It has 4,58 mb of a 100mb free.

Yea it shouldn't be there. You need to do a fresh install again and delete all partitions on the ssd. Unplug your storage hdd before you do it and delete all from ssd and you should have 240gb or so of unallocated space. Install windows on that ?Backup anything to your hdd first you want to keep.

This is either a software/driver issue, failing memory, or failing storage device.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

On the screen where you have quick format there's an option that says delete. That is the one you want to use ?

It sounds scary this is why I say remove your storage hdd first. There will be 3 or more partitions you will want to delete on the ssd before you reinstall. If you just format all the partitions all your doing is have wasted space on your ssd.

It is true. Clean install again is likely to solve the issue. However, you are not allowed to format hard drive with OS on under Windows environment. You may need to create a bootable device (consider you have an USB) with format software on. So you can format the entire hard drive completely after booting. You may want to learn more in reformatting a hard drive. It is also helpful if you operate wipe hard drive. Clean install then. Regards.
