Hey guys!

I know this might be a noob question but when I overclock my EVGA GTX 560 and run kombustor benchmarks, it only uses:

405.0MHz of Core Clock

162.0MHz of Memory Clock
910.0MHz of Shader clock

even though the GPU usage is already 100%

here's a photo

And here's a screenshot of GPU-Z

I also bumped up the voltage to 1.025.

Is this normal? or is there something wrong?

Try an actual game and see if it's still using 405 core clock. Synthetic benchmarks are very poor imo.

But it seems like it isn't getting enough power, or you have it on a power-save mode and it's not ramping the clocks up.

right click, Nvidia control panel, manage 3d settings, power management, prefer maximum performance.

See if that makes a difference.

I tried doing the nvidia control panel thing and ran the benchmarks again. It didn't work.

I played battlefield 3 and it still wasn't running the full clock.. still 405MHz but with 100% Load

Try stock and see if that works.

I can tell you the obvious but it's the only thing I know to say besides stock. Your gpu isn't ramping up for some reason. Usually even if your OC is to high it just crashes the driver and restores itself.

I put it back on stock and it now works fine.. I guess i recieved a bad overclocker -_-

if you have the patience for 25mhz on the core at a time, than once your at/ near your max work on your memory clock to get it higher.

Sorry on the bad OC. It sucks but it's still a decent card anyways.
