FPS drops and stutter

Alright so i have this problem when im playing any game my fps will drop and then stutter, happens every few seconds. It use to do it to my 970 and i upgraded to the 1070 when they came out and now its started to happen again

 

Here are my pc parts

 

intel 6700k
ASUS S1151 ATX Z170-PRO-GAMING DDR4 Motherboard

Asus 1070

Evga 1000 watt power supply

samsung evo 500gb ssd

does anyone know why this would be happening i have tried everything

use DDU then reinstall latest video drivers from the nvidia website

When you game, what is your SSD usage at?

Did you look at your SSD usage when you run a game?

yeah its like 30%

Can you check if it's in AHCI mode?

Also did you try windowed vs fullscreen? 

What OS are you running?
