urgent Windows 10 start Menu App Panels HELP!

Please Help!

I am using a HP x360 laptop and updated to the newest version of windows 10. Now I am able to access app's from the sidebar or the task bar but need to use alt tab to reopen them because the Start menu app panels are covering the desktop and do not go away!

 

Please help as soon as possible!

Hey, check to see if tablet mode is enabled. Click the message icon in the system tray and tablet mode should be in the upper left hand corner. See if that is checked, as it may cause a similar issue.
