Question About Steam Sales/ Wishlist thoughts

Okjoek

There's an autumn sale going on right now, but I thought there was supposed to be a big sale just next month usually called the Winter sale. IDK I was just used to waiting for december for all the games to go on sale. Is that still going to happen next month or should I get the games I want that are on sale right now?

Some games I got on my Wishlist:

Cities Skylines,

Besiege,

Undertale,

Don't Starve,

Siralim 2,

Firewatch

Civilization V (I've never played one and I heard some people didn't like 6 as much, what do you think?)

Verdun

Most of these games had really great reviews so let me know what you think.

There's going to be a winter sale too.

But due to the proximity, don't expect better deals on any of the games currently on sale. If you want them I'd say buy now.

As for Civilization 5, skip it. 6 is a lot better.

There should be a winter sale too but I would go with what has good deals now.

Cities: Skylines and Don't Starve are both 75% off and easily worth it.

Civ 5 is great but if your going to get it make sure you get the Complete Edition with all the DLC bundled, for 92% off it's a bargain. I've not played Civ 6 so can't comment on it.

Cities Skylines will get you addicted and suck all the life off of you...But its a great game and made by Finns so i have to recommend it :D

Which Don't Starve do I want to be purchasing? It seems like there's two games Don't starve alone and don't starve together and the alone one has multiple DLC are these things I want to have with the game?

Don't Starve is single player only and has 2 DLCs:

Reign of Giants - Adds more content to the base game and makes it harder.

Shipwrecked - Set in a tropical environment, with new challenges.

Both are great expansions and I recommend both but it's up to you of course.

Don't Starve Together is the multiplayer version of the game.
