Help with build colors

Hey!

I'm building a gaming pc soon, and its going to be white with magenta OR blue accents

My case (NZXT S340 white) and GPU (Asus 1060 6GB dual) are both white, and I don't know what other components to make the main color or the accent.

 

Heres my build https://pcpartpicker.com/list/chQn8K what do you guys think I should make white or blue/magenta

Also will the black mobo look decent w/ the white case? I might get a white mobo but I think only higher-tiered mobo's have white PCB's

The motherboard is mATX and only has 2 memory slots. You should consider investing more to get an ATX motherboard so that it will not look lost in the S340. Four memory slots with a 2x4GB memory kit would also be better.

 

The S340 in the build is black.  NZXT S340 (White) ATX Mid Tower Case  is the white version. Note the white case interior is black but the fans have white blades.

Yes. But is is mATX.

make sure your case is compatible with the motherboard. For instance if you have a micro atx case, a standard ITX board won't fit.

Not necessarily. Most modern gaming GPU are double width, so they do occupy 2 slots on the motherboard. But most other expansion cards are single width and only occupy one slot.

 

The mATX motherboard in the OP has three PCIe slots. One x16 (typically) for a gpu. The other two are x1. However, a double width gpu will cover one of the x1 slots.

 

Yes, ATX motherboards are more expensive.

READ: This list is a black and white one (which i recommend since its not only easier to match, but looks much more cleaner) and has a few parts you can switch. The list has two CPU Coolers to choose from, and the CPU can be swapped out for a i3-6100 which would run great (the key to the i3-6100 is fast ram, which i have on the list).

No, the PCIe (expansion) slots. The motherboard in the OP has four memory slots.

can you bring up the price at all? i mean, i could build the list for the price, but the parts will not match (unless you like only black). the current price for the lowest while keeping looks and performance the build can go for matching colors is $950 before rebates (but rebates dont ever seem to work in the end).

The CPU cooler would have on of the two fans i added (with the white rim) on, to keep it looking sharp.
