ubuntu installation problem

I'm trying to install ubuntu 16.04.1 lts on lenovo ideapad y560 from usb 2gb but it constantly freezes before I can select type of my keyboard in the installation proces. Tried with dvd+r but then I cannot even choose between trying it or installing it. Can someone help me, please?

have you done a checksum on your download and install USB?
