I am building a rig, and later down the road planning on switching to water cooling but for now I want to have a good foundation.

What u are going to do with that PC?

2x 1TB Raid 1 for reliable data storage.

32 Gb For Future Video Editing

M.2 for OS and Top games.

Faster RAM indeed will help on Video editing such adobe premiere and can help to load thumbnail faster.

Even SATA SSD is enough for OS and games but i think it will be proper if u install m.2 on such a built.

 

And why dont u build a NAS for your system if u are going to do a video editing?

Maybe down the road I can build a Network storage. Right now I am trying to get the build off the ground. 

Good idea, but no funding at the moment haha.
