Alright so I installed Ubuntu on my computer and I selected alongside Windows manager ,because I'm a Windows user most of the time. I tried to find a way to use my wifi adapter with Ubuntu, I was to lazy to move my computer closer to my router, so I was trying to find drivers I could bring over to Ubuntu but I couldn't so I was frustrated and restarted the computer and accidentally selected system startup or system setup or whatever it was called and then my computer just black screened and I can't to anything about, please help.

I would get a boot disk and delete the partition on the drive and re-install the operating system.

I recommend using Hiren's Ultimate Boot and using any of the many partition tools it offers.

You also have the command line if you wanted to use the diskpart application.

If it's windows I can give you command line fixes.

Here is a link for the boot disk. =]

Also drivers are specific to an operating system. You'd have to find a driver for Ubuntu for it to work. You cannot use, as far as my knowledge goes, a windows driver for Linux. They are speaking different languages. I don't know if you actually tried that or not. =P

You should be OK, just put the windows disc/USB in and select repair... it should just fix the MBR or UEFI boot partition.

Please quote my post, or put @paddy-stone if you want me to respond to you.
