Hello,

Recently I bought multiple components for building a PC. Although everything was running smoothly it wasn't optimal. When I try to do anything that is exerting pressure towards the cpu power. My computer freezes and I cannot do anything other than reboot my computer.
I have tried installing drivers with the Intel driver utility, but it didn't work like it is supposed to. The driver utility doesn't detect my CPU and I can't manually download drivers either because it states my computer is lacking the right components.
Build Specs:
Intel i6600
Nvidia Geforce Gtx 1060
16 gb Ram HyperX
Asrock H170 Pro4/Hyper
550 watt power supply

120gb Samsung SSD
1tb Wdblue HDD

I have been breaking my brain over this for a couple of hours now, I haven't been able to find any help or atleast make any progress.

If someone were to help me I would be overjoyed.

Kind Regards,

IkWilDood

Just a thought since I recently ran into a similar problem on a new build. Do you have any other PCIe cards besides your GPU? Different mobo's like different slots to be used, and having the wifi card in a specific spot caused very weird windows behaviour and crashes. As soon as I moved the card to a new slot, everything was good.

When in doubt, re-format.

Follow the guide in my signature to ensure you're installing Windows right.  Sounds like either a power delivery problem or a software problem to me.  (assuming its not a actual malfunctioning part)

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!
