Pc to pc transfer

So i was going to move a few TB Of data over to a different pc both with windows 10 via ethernet but apparently microsoft doesnt allow that on windows 10. Any other odeas how i can transfer that much quick?

Windows DOES support direct SMB transfer. Just set static IP addresses on both computers (making sure both ips are in the same subnet), then share the folder you want to transfer. Enter the ip address of the computer with the shared folder with a \\ in front, and you can do a transfer

 

EX: \\xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

Filezilla FTP... it's concurrent and will cap out the slowest nic between you two if your storage media and CPU allow it to do so.

 

Free, easy and fast like your... nah jokes aside. Try it though. FTP is designed for that.
