Hi,

I'm planning on buying a new computer this black Friday but I'm not sure what wattage to get. I'm planning to get an i5 6600K with an AMD Sapphire Radeon Rx 480 nitro+ OC but over time I would like do buy another rx 480. What wattage should I get?

Thanks.

Don't Crossfire 480s, first of all. If you have to Crossfire or SLI cards it should be because you have the highest-end GPU in affordable existence (IE, two GTX 1080s) and it's not enough for you. Crossfire and SLI bring their own host of issues. Your best bet would be to get sell your original RX480 and get a 1080 or something along those lines when the money comes your way.

That said, for a single 480 an EVGA 650GQ/750B2/550G2 or 550GS would work aplenty. For two you'd want at least a 650W unit.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
