Plug the headphones directly into the computer instead of a passthrough.

Hi guys! So just bought the Corsair Vengeance 1500 v2 and I plugged it into the USB pass through of my Razer BlackWidow Ultimate 2013......so what it did was...at first, my computer detected the Corsair Vengeance 1500 and began installing its drivers but it my mouse and my keyboard turned off and the Installation process took forever. So i plugged it out and plugged my keyboard and mouse it..they worked again but began reinstalling their drivers too...it also took forever so I restarted the computer. When i turned off my PC and pressed the Power on button...it took awhile before the power turned on which, normally doesn't happen, so when I plugged in the Corsair 1500's again,my computer isn't installing its drivers anymore but when I checked in the Hardware and Devices in the control panel, the Corsair 1500's aren't being detected but i can hear sounds from it. After that,I went to the Corsair website and downloaded their "Corsair Headset Software". After installing it,I opened it and saw that my headset was on 2.0 so I dropped down the menu and click 7.1 but it doesn't change, then I kept on repeating and tried the other buttons but they don't work. Please help :(

Plug them directly into the computer, it probably isn't getting enough power from the pass through

Thanks,it works now :). But i still can't change the source type from the Corsair Headset Software from 2.0 to 7.0. How can I change it? And how can I make the headset louder? I already maxed all volumes on my computer
