How can i apply a ligh leak clip only on letters from a title in Premiere pro CC?

Hello everyone, 
I've been struggling with this,
I want to add a light leak clip but only to the letters, not to the background, i've tried all the opacity blending settings but no one worked, 
Can anyone help me?
