Hey guys! i just came from Dominos! And there it was written that "OPEN  24/7". They had a router on the wall with WI-FI (of course). Then i thought they might keep their wi-fi on for a long time. doesn't that get heated? Please, can you also recommend me a good router which doesn't get heated up easily. and which can run continuously.

Thanks.

Routers have cooling vents for a reason.

Routers that cost like $20 most likely will overheat when you are downloading something over wifi or doing something that "Puts load on the router". If you want a router that will not overhead get one that has lots of cooling vents and maybe a fan inside of it. Or maybe get something like this:

Yeh most people don't turn of networking stuff, get a laptop cooling pad for your router if it over heats.

I am guessing you got it on sale because there is no way you got one that has 5ports for 13euros. also, all routers have wifi as that is what a router is for! :P

Either way a cheap £1 laptop cooling pad will do the same job, even a case fan could work.

I use a case fan to cool my router :P
