Next upgrade

So I'm thinking of upgrading my pc to help with vr.

 

I have a i5 4690k with no oc right now because my bios fucked up. 

 

8gb of ram. ik I'm getting 16 hopefully on a sale.

 

And a MSI 390

 

What would help the most a cpu or gpu upgrade. if cpu rather have it be already compatible. mostly because upgrading a mobo is a bitch

Are those major upgrades from the 390. the 480 doesn't seem like it.

 

The 1070 is.

 

Also will vr require like an i7 when games developed are more demanding or is an i5 fine

i5 is fine. Agreed not really an upgrade when going 480 but thought if you like team red.

VR are more visually demanding so  a gpu would be nice

I am anot amd fan but they are doing shit so rip xD

 

Guess I'll keep my eyes open for 1070 deals. 

 

Is my PSU enough for that? thought I was pushing it as is

Thalys what I currently have. I was told with that and my parts I could oc my cpu but if I oc my cpu and gpu there could be power issues
